MingoMan Youth Splash-n-Dash, Saturday, June 23, 8am - 10am, Delaware State Park - Calling the youth of Central Ohio and those of the Mingoman Triathlon participants to Delaware State Park on Saturday, June 23 for a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming - the Mingoman Youth Splash & Dash. The swim will take place in the Delaware reservoir (water depth 3-4 feet) and the run on the trails around Delaware State Park. The focus is on PARTICIPATION rather than competition. The event will expose youth participants to USA Triathlon and the exciting world of multisport! Participants will be timed but finishes are not awarded special recognition. Triathlon for Hope (All Female), Saturday, August 18, 8am - 11am, Alum Creek State Park - This is the 7th annual all-female triathlon designed to raise awareness about early detection of breast cancer, research into eradicating the disease, recognizing the survivors and those living with breast cancer, and remembering those who have been lost to this terrible disease. The proceeds from the event are donated to local breast cancer organizations to fund breast cancer research and awareness activities. MASH Military and Service Heroes Pantry - To reduce hunger throughout the Veteran and Active Duty communities of Franklin, Pickaway, and Delaware County, Ohio through our Outreach Program. In addition, we will concentrate on our low income and homeless Veteran population and promote self-sufficiency by making the best possible use of all available resources. M.A.S.H. Pantry is a non-profit 501(3)c charitable food pantry serving veterans, military families and survivors in the Greater Columbus Area.
