The Ohio Bird Conservation Initiative: A Collaborative Approach to Regional Bird Conservation, Monday, January 27, 7pm, Deer Haven Park - Since its founding in 2004, the Ohio Bird Conservation Initiative (OBCI) has actively engaged state and federal wildlife agencies, non-profit groups, universities, museums, businesses, and private citizens to address avian conservation issues in all habitats. Hike Ohio! - Novices of the outdoors - This group is for anyone who likes to hike and walk on nature trails, backpacking trails and just about anywhere in the great outdoors. We will get together for evening hikes on metro parks trails, gather for day hikes in the Ohio State park and forest system and maybe even do overnight trips if anyone is interested.
